- This years Civic Ball will be earlier than usual. Note this year it will be on Sat 25th Feb at the the Venue Bowers Mill. Tickets are £25 each and tables of 10 are available. All proceeds go to the Chairman's charity which this year is the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. All welcome. Contact the clerk for details of how to book. Click here to view the menu and program
- From Sunday 29th January 2012 some Ripponden Bus Services will change resulting in more buses for Ripponden and Barkisland. Once again the Parish council has printed a comprehensive guide available here
